HTC One X users are in for a treat. Per reports, the HTC One X is set to receive the highly-anticipated Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update next month. Although the information is not official and the Taiwan-based company is yet to confirm the same, a possibility exists that the report may be authentic.
According to Modaco.com, the Jelly Bean update is slated to roll out to generic unlocked HTC One X handsets, which will be followed by updates to the carrier versions of the smartphone.
Additionally, presuming that both Google and network operators give the update a go ahead, the Jelly Bean update would make it to the HTC One X by Christmas.
The site also claimed that the HTC One X+, which is also eagerly anticipated as an upgrade to the One X, will arrive with Jelly Bean out of the box.
However, no information on the One S receiving the update is available yet.
