Celebrity couple Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom has been in a relationship for almost a year now and things are looking stable for the two. Known to be quite vocal about their relationship, the couple reportedly plans to settle down soon and even talks about having children.
In a recent interview with E! News, the "Rise" singer admitted that children are becoming "a big focus" in her life right now. "Children to me are becoming a big focus. I don't even have mine but I see it in my sister's kids and just how much nurturing and love they need..." Katy Perry revealed.
The 31-year-old songstress also recalled her passion for incorporating music therapy programs to sick children and how she helped her sister delivered her baby. "I see the amazing thing of birth and children and the vulnerability and we just have to take care of them and how, how big of an impression we have. We have such a responsibility!"
Could this be a hint that Katy Perry is ready to become a mother and settle down with Orlando Bloom soon? Considering the couple's apparent serious relationship, it is quite possible. In fact, a source revealed to E! News that the lovely couple has been talking about marriage and children, saying, "They are in love and happier than ever. [Orlando] would like to get engaged to [Katy] before the year is up."
The source also revealed that Katy Perry is very much open for a second shot at marriage following a failed one in 2011. "[Marriage and children] is something Katy has always wanted when she met the man she was ready to settle down with," the source claimed.
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom first stepped out in public together in January at the Weinstein and Netflix parties following the 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards. The two were both divorced with their respective partners, Russell Brand and Miranda Kerr.
