Treyarch and Activision's upcoming first-person shooter "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2" has now received a full list of achievements that will be arriving along with the game.
The new information regarding the game has arrived after the game's multiplayer maps and weapons screenshots were leaked on the Internet. TechGame member Errorjack, who leaked the new screenshots, managed to retrieve them from an internal beta phase that is currently in the works. However, the company is yet to make these screenshots official.
The new achievement layout is quite similar to the previous "Call of Duty" games. Although most of the features resemble earlier versions of the game from the same franchise, they are exciting and present a fresh challenge for players.
Previously, in "World at War" and "Black Ops," the zombies mode was just a co-op survival mode. Treyarch decided to offer more on the exciting Zombie front, and now, according to IGN, the game will also have other new zombie-based modes, like a fully-operational multiplayer mode, with the old survival mode continuing to feature.
The achievements include rescuing Woods, escorting the president to the secure location in downtown LA, gathering information on Raul Menendez, completing all future levels in veteran, successfully assassinate SDC Chairman Tian Zhao, and using a future weapon in the past. For additional details users can check out the full list of achievements here.
"Black Ops 2 MP," per a previous list, is set to feature the following maps: Carrier, Cargo, Drone, Express, Hijacked, Aftermath, Meltdown, Nightclub, Overflow, Raid, Slums, Socotra, Turbine, and Village.
Additionally, more details regarding the game's prestige system have been divulged. It was earlier reported that the Prestige Edition of the game is set to include 55 levels in the main progression and 10 levels of prestige. Quite similar to the previous games in the series, when in the prestige system, the game's mechanics are set to provide users with the option to reset their level back to level one.
The only difference here is that, unlike previous COD games, while in prestige, gamers will not lose all of the content they unlocked. This inclusion means that weapon experience will remain and when the gamer unlocks a weapon again, the game will remember the progress that was made previously while using the weapon.
