It looks like "Super Junior" Heechul will be hosting a new show from JTBC entitled "Phantom Singer" with Jun Hyun Moo. The new show is said to be a singing variety show that aims to find a new male vocal group in Korea.
According to reports, the show and its host are already confirmed. The show will feature a group of artists who wants a shot at fame by just showing off their singing talent. The groups are said to be allowed to sing in different genres, from dance to ballad. The winner will be given a chance to become an international vocalist.
Of course, another reason for people with a gifted voice to join the show is the chance to meet one of their "Super Junior" idol Heechul. However, there is no news yet regarding the auditions and what are their requirements. "Super Junior" is known for their huge fanbase that it's not surprising if people around the globe will be interested in joining just to meet him. The show is scheduled to premiere sometime in November.
This is not the first time "Super Junior" Kim Heechul has hosted a show. It can be remembered that Kim Heechul was also the MC of Channel A's "Singderella" where he was joined by Lee Soo Geun and actress Kang Sung Yun as host of the show.
Just like "Phantom Singer", "Singderella" is a music variety show where panelist listens to what the audience wants and sings a song with the audience to comfort them. All three host, although with different backgrounds, are still connected to music.
Kim Hee-chul or better known as Heechul is not just a singer but also a songwriter, presenter, actor and now a host. But one thing that many may not know about him is that he is also a League of Legends (LoL) gamer and has actually participated in the LoL Champions and Celebrity Event.
