FIFA 13 Freezing Issues – EA Investigating Now

While FIFA 13 has been celebrated since its launch last week, the game's hasn't entirely arrived without its fair share of problems and glitches, the recent one being that the game crashes across both the consoles - Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Per reports, "FIFA 13" players have complained that the game suddenly crashes in Career Mode on consoles. EA, however, is doing its bit and has appealed for feedback to investigate the problem further and provide error-less gameplay in the process.

The company took to the forums to address customer concerns regarding the same and also invited users to share their experiences to help resolve the issue.

"Hi, if you are experiencing crashes in Career Mode please provide the following information to the best of your ability," the EA forum reads. "What platform are you using? What were you doing when it crashed? Are you using a game face player? Do you have newly signed players on your team?"

As of now, it seems as if the crashes are only happening in Career Mode for both X360 and PS3 gamers. It has also been found out that these crashes are independent of transfers, gameface use etc.

The latest information regarding the game has arrived after it was reported that "FIFA 13," after its launch in the U.S. on Sept. 25, sold more than 350,000 units. This sales figure is a 42 percent year-on-year increase over the previous "FIFA 12" title.

It was also stated that players across North America played an amazing 1.4 million online games on the first day, which was a 35 percent year-on-year increase.

The game also boasts the biggest global launch-day performance of any iOS game on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch in EA's history.

However, even if the game is facing a few difficulties currently, it has already started to boast positive reviews from gamers, critics and dedicated Web sites. While Eurogamer Spain awarded the game a perfect 100 score, Multiplayer (Italy) called it the "best FIFA ever." Also, JeuxVideo Magazine said "FIFA 13 approaches a form of perfection."

"FIFA 13" now features 46 international teams (as confirmed by EA). While the Czech Republic and Paraguay have returned to the roster, teams like India, Bolivia, and Venezuela have also made a comeback to the main series after a 11-year gap since "FIFA Football 2002."
