Clash Royale Rolls Out Card Balance Changes On October 20; Giant Hit Points Decreased By 5%

Clash Royale Giant is said to be getting another nerf as his hit points have reportedly been diminished further by 5 percent. Poison spell was also nerfed to decrease the strength of the Giant + Poison combo. Damage was also increased by 9 percent and log rolls faster and further.

Two of the most overused cards in Clash Royale as of now are allegedly Clash Royale Giant and the Poison Spell. The latter's nerf is reportedly not in duration or radius. The Poison Spell may no longer make slow movement and attack speed of the units it affects. This is believed to render the card from OP to being useless in the game.

Apparently, the previous balance changes on the Clash Royale Giant was not able to pull enough power from him. Hence, the additional tweak is said to put him in a better place overall. However, the change is said to be a small one that aims to reduce the strength of both but not remove the viable combo of Giant + Poison.

Furthermore, the cost of elixir has been increased from 5 to 6. Elixir gain also went from 7 to 8 and Lifetime was added 10 more seconds. Elixir Collector is also said to be one of the most popular cards in Clash Royale offering a good return with less risk. It is said that this move will make it a bigger risk to play.

Meanwhile, after introducing Ice Golem and Inferno Baby Dragon, the Clash Royale developers have also increased damage by 9 percent. This will enable damage to take out opponents that are far in a quicker way. However, no official statement was revealed on the length and speed of the adjustments.

The Clash Royale skeleton army also dropped cost from four to three elixir and the number of skeletons was reduced from 21 to 16. Additionally, the single unit level was increased to five. Minor adjustments were also made on Golem and the newly-introduced Ice Golem so that destruction damage would be inflicted on both air and ground troops equally.
