‘The Simpsons’ Season 28 News & Update: Producer Confirms Show Not Ending Soon, Caps Until 2000th Episode

"The Simpsons" has a new feat of reaching the 600th episode in its season 28. With its overwhelming success, "The Simpsons" showrunner disclosed that the animated comedy is definitely not ending soon.

"The Simpsons" season 28, episode 5 titled "Treehouse of Horror XXVII" is the show's 600th episode, and it does not seem to be ending anytime soon. In an interview of The Washington Post with David Silverman, the producer maintained that "The Simpsons" is never ending. He said: "We don't want it to end."

The Halloween episode of "The Simpsons" season 28 has been watched by millions of viewers. However, the episode "Treehouse of Horror XXVII" is not the best in this season which many would have expected.

The 600th episode opened with "The Simpsons" villains: Leprochaun, Frank Grimes, Bob and Kang. As soon as Homer remembered Frank, he greeted him. It can be noted that Frank hates Homer so much. Maggie Simpson meanwhile jumps right out of bed. The episode ended with a James Bond parody at Moe's bar which happened to be the headquarters of an international spy agency. Bart Simpson ventured on a revenge as a spy. Meanwhile, "The Simpsons" predictions have Shirley Bassey out of the gag to celebrate the 600th episode.
