More information has been revealed about Windows Phone 8's potential arrival. Per reports, Microsoft's first set of Windows Phone 8 (WP8) devices will be made available for pre-order in the U.S. on Oct. 21.

The latest information on the pre-order of the device was revealed by The Verge, after sources familiar with AT&T and Microsoft's plans revealed to the site that the carrier will begin taking pre-orders for its upcoming range on Windows Phone 8-based devices starting Oct. 21. Apparently, the list of devices also includes Nokia's Lumia 920 and HTC's 8X.

According to the report, pre-orders for Samsung's ATIV Smart PC and the Asus Vivo Tab RT will also commence on Oct. 21, which will be in preparation for a final launch on Oct. 26. It has also been stated that the Windows Phone 8 devices will be made available in early November, following the pre-orders on Oct. 21.

A Microsoft spokesperson, who was also approached on the issue of availability of the Windows Phone 8 devices, refused to comment on the final pre-order date. The spokesperson stated that "Windows Phone 8 phones will be available to customers later this year."

The new information has arrived after it was confirmed that T-Mobile had officially brought in Windows Phone 8-based Nokia Lumia 810 into the U.S. It was reported that the device will be exclusive to the carrier, and will offer access to HSPA+ data, a 4.3-inch OLED WVGA Clear Black display, a primary 8-megapixel shooter, along with a front-facing 1.2-megapixel camera.

Apart from T-Mobile, the provider of the country's largest 4G network - AT&T - also unveiled and officially announced two of Nokia's upcoming smartphones - Lumia 820 and Lumia 920 - that will be available via the carrier.

The carrier, per reports, stated that it will be carrying the Windows Phone 8-powered Lumia 920 as an exclusive, while it will also offer the Nokia Lumia 820.

Although the pricing for the devices has still not been divulged, the company revealed that it has plans to make the devices available starting November. A specific date is yet to be announced.
