Eminem Releases New Song 'Campaign Speech'; Debuts At No.1 On Billboard And Twitter

The long wait is finally over! Eminem is back with a brand new song "Campaign Speech." After years of waiting, the Rap God made his way back to the music scene as he unexpectedly dropped a monstrous 8-minute track on his official YouTube account on Wednesday, October 19.

The said track takes on numerous issues trending these days with the typical Eminem trademark of powerful freestyle rapping. The "8 Mile" star covered a wide range of topics in his latest song "Campaign Speech" including football player Colin Kaepernick, mystery novelist Agatha Christie, controversial George Zimmerman and of course, presidential candidate Donald Trump.

In one of part of his track, Eminem did not hold back as he expressed how he'd like to put George Zimmerman, the guy who fatally shot Trayvon Martin- sparking the Black Lives Matter movement - in an "orange uniform."

The 43-year-old rapper also made his stand clear about Donald Trump. He bravely slammed the Republican presidential candidate calling him a "loose cannon" as he raps:

"Consider me a dangerous man but you should be afraid of this dang candidate. You say Trump don't kiss ass like a puppet cause he runs his campaign with his own cash for the funded/ And that's what you wanted?/ A f-ing loose cannon who's blunt with his hand on the button who doesn't have to answer to no one/ Great idea."

Eminem also revealed that he is currently working on his upcoming album. There are rumors that the said album will be titled "Roots" and will feature big shots like Snoop Dogg, Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, and Kendrick Lamar. It will allegedly come out sometime next year. However, no further details have been confirmed by the rapper himself so it's best to take these rumors as mere speculations for now.

Meanwhile, as soon as "Campaign Speech" was uploaded on YouTube on Wednesday afternoon, the song literally became an instant hit. According to Billboard, the song skyrocketed to the top of the real-time Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 chart. In fact, "Campaign Speech" generated enough Twitter activity to land at the top spot in just a matter of an hour.

With the positive reactions from fans, Eminem's upcoming album will definitely be a sure hit yet again. For now, check out the full track of "Campaign Speech" in the video below.
