Diablo 3 Faces Error 73 Nightmare

'Diablo 3' is back in troubled waters once again. Per reports, the “Diablo 3” forum has been currently flooded with players claiming that they cannot connect to the game’s server, and are receiving Error 73 instead.

The new thread has currently expanded to nearly 30 pages to date, and is not expected to stop for a while. However, importantly, the developers are yet to take any action against the problem.

For those who are not aware about the Error 73 problem, this occurs normally after the servers are down, regardless of the reason. Diablo 3′s login servers, as already known, have a limited capacity, and if assumed that millions of players intend to log on to the game simultaneously or at the same time, the servers are unable to bear such kind of a load.

This is brand new problem after it was reported in May that European Diablo 3 servers sent out Error 73 and Error 37 messages to players who were trying to log in. Players in Europe, at that time, complained of receiving consistent Errors 37 and 73 whenever they made a log-in attempt.

It was also said that “across the board, playing time on Diablo 3 has remained sporadic ever since Blizzard deployed the patch, where hundreds of folks remained locked out of the servers despite being told otherwise on screen.”

This, however, is a major new problem after it was reported in August that the game was facing an opening day bug. That time the game faced the notorious error 3006, and although Blizzard stated that it is looking into the problem, many gamers still faced the problem for quite some time.

The new report about the error problem has arrived after Blizzard sent out new hotfixes for “Diablo 3” for the end of October. The new bug fixes include fixing an issue that sometimes caused Sokahr the Keywarden to become stuck at 1 point of health.

Other fixes include a fix to an issue that caused the Butcher to go idle when stunned after performing his Charge attack during "The Imprisoned Angel: Kill the Butcher," an issue that allowed some players to continue to dual-wield two-handed weapons under extremely rare circumstances, a fix for the crash that could occur when gold dropped in bad locations, and more.
