Following numerous PDA-filled sightings of Cara Delevingne's ex-girlfriend St. Vincent with new flame Kristen Stewart, looks like it's her turn now to take the spotlight and flaunt her alleged new love interest, Dakota Johnson.
Recently, reports have surfaced that Delevingne and Johnson have been very open about their "friendship" these days. Rumors claim that the 27-year-old actress has been a major support to her model BFF after splitting with St. Vincent. Apparently, Johnson has been helping Delevingne move on from her former lover especially now that she's openly dating Stewart.
"Cara Delevingne seems to be getting a lot closer to Dakota Johnson these days. The pair were almost inseparable on various nights out in New York this week and when Cara bumped into her ex St Vincent with her new girlfriend Kristen Stewart,it was Dakota who she turned to for support," a source told Hollywood Life.
The same source also added, "They seem to be getting along really well and Cara always seems really happy when they are together. It could be just a close friendship, but maybe it could develop into something more. Cara bumped into St. Vincent after enjoying a girls' night out with Taylor Swift, Martha Hunt, Zoe Kravitz and Suki Waterhouse. However, with Dakota by her side she did not seem to put off by the encounter."
And it seems like the 24-year-old model turned actress is not keeping their closeness a secret. In fact, Delevingne celebrated Johnson's birthday last week and shared a snap of them together with Taylor Swift in a FaceTime Session.
It can be recalled that Delevingne has been in a serious relationship with St. Vincent before calling it quits in July. The model even gushed about her in public during an interview in Vogue magazine. St. Vincent is now dating "Twilight" actress Kristen Stewart and has been spotted multiple times in PDA-filled date nights. On the other hand, Johnson also parted ways with her on-and-off boyfriend of two years, Matthew Hitt.
As of this writing, both Delevingne and Johnson have not addressed the said dating rumors. Will they end up being more than friends? Only time will tell what the future holds for this lovely pair.
