“Call of Duty” fans have more good news awaiting them as far as multiplayer gaming is concerned. Per reports, more information has been attained regarding the Prestige and League modes for Treyarch’s upcoming first-person title “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.”
As of now, the images of prestige and zombie emblems from “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” have been revealed on the Internet, thanks to an avid “Call of Duty” fan called absolutecobblers. Via a recent “Call of Duty: ELITE” update, some users, reportedly, have been able to extract the complete list of “Black Ops 2” League Emblems and Prestige Emblems. Interestingly, this also includes the mysterious Prestige Master emblem.
What’s really striking from the image is that it seems like there will be multiple tiers of Leagues that a player could possibly enter via their “Black Ops 2” career. As reported earlier, Leagues in “Black Ops 2” will pair evenly skilled players into similar matchmaking categories. What this means is that as a player progresses and becomes more capable, he will be able to move up in tiers with better players with better capabilities.
Currently, according to a MP1ST report, “only ten Prestige levels have been confirmed, plus the last and final Prestige Master (in which everything is unlocked for a player in Black Ops 2).” However, there have been reports that some users “have found up to 15 emblems (thanks, CharlieINTEL) within the latest ELITE update, though a number of them appear to be older Black Ops 1 emblems. It’s yet to be confirmed what it could actually signify.”
The CharlieINTEL report, on the other hand, states that “Waleed (aka RedDraXon) located 15 images named ‘Prestige-Image-1’ all the way through ‘Prestige-Image-15’ when ELiTE was updated last night. Still no confirmation on what order they will be and also it’s still unclear if one of them is the ‘Prestige Master’ emblem or if 11-15 are place holders or clan related. All we can confirm is that the images were labeled ‘1-15’.”
Additionally, it has also been reported that the Xbox 360 version of “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” has been leaked, one week before release. “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” is currently planned for a Nov. 13 release on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
