Disney’s “Girl Meets World” is on the verge of its finish line and its current season is widely rumored to be its last. How are the cast and crew dealing with the alleged conclusion of the sitcom?
Main stars Sabrina Carpenter (Maya Hart) and Rowan Blanchard (Riley Matthews) are facing strong theories that they are bound to depart the show as they have outgrown their characters and that their maturity is presumed to be unfit with the theme of the show.
In a prior report, Blanchard was mentioned to have been hopeful on the pursuit of the fourth installment of “Girl Meets World”despite its uncertainty.
"I know as much as you do. We are hoping for a Season 4, obviously, because we want to continue our story, and I feel like it's an important story to tell. But as of right now, we just finished [filming] Season 3 and we're still waiting on the word,” she said.
Season 3 continuously airs and its writers posted new interesting titles of the remaining episodes.
Among the leaked labels on the Twitter post, the last on the list called “Goodbye” caught the attention of the strong followers of the series. It could be the finale of the 3rd season, a reason why they’re bidding their farewell but rumors have it that it could be the final departure of the entire cast members from the show.
An emotional August Maturo (Auggie Matthews) was reported to respond in the said tweet with his statement “Not ready for Goodbye.” His post fueled speculations that the coming of age soap is really destined to last until the third season only.
While Disney and the showrunners are yet to release their official statements on the real status of “Girl Meets World” season 4, the followers of the said series are not giving up their hopes that the show will still continue.
