"The Originals" season four is set to be released next week and there have been speculations that Caroline will be the salvation of Klaus from how things ended during the season three finale.
Will Caroline Be The Much Awaited Salvation Of Klaus In "The Originals?"
As it can be recalled, Klaus was under what they call a suspended nightmare after he was inflicted with agonizing pain during the third season finale of "The Originals." Being an original hybrid, he was definitely immortal. He could never be killed, thus placing him under such was the only way his enemies could get rid of him. It has then been speculated that his only chance of surviving such state was his daughter, Hope. However, others claim that true love might just be what he needs.
There have been unending reports about how Caroline, Klaus's love interest from "The Vampire Diaries" is going to be his salvation. If many can recall, Klaus's years of staying in Mystic Falls taught him that there was still humanity left in him, as he fell in love with Caroline. However, he could never make it work due to the evilness of Klaus and Caroline's fear to succumb to his darkness. It looks like that kind of love is just what he needs to be saved in "The Originals."
How Will The Mikaelson Family Survive The Challenges They Have Encountered Together?
Since "The Vampire Diaries" is already on their last season, some of the characters may continue to crossover to "The Originals" and Caroline there will make the most sense among them all. The upcoming season four of the series will feature a five-year time jump and there could be a lot that could happen in the span of those five years that could lead to saving Klaus. Executive producer Julie Plec also hinted that there will be an issue going around the Mikaelson siblings and the greatest challenge will definitely be their salvation.
"The Originals" season four is set to be released on January 2017.
