“Call of Duty” fans are in for a treat yet again. Per reports, Treyarch has announced that players will be able to play the highly awaited Nuketown 2025 multiplayer map from Nov. 10 to Nov. 12 during the “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” Live event, scheduled to be held at the Bloomsbury Ballroom in central London.
The “Black Ops 2” Live is set to be an enthraling e-sports experience that will provide fans with the chance to play the game before its release at midnight on Nov. 13. Transforming the traditional sports bar experience on its head, “Black Ops 2” Live will provide thousands of fans the opportunity of playing new content for the very first time, bringing to life some of the key features of multiplayer and e-sports.
Currently, the Nuketown 2025 bonus multiplayer map is available for pre-order. Fans who will pre-order it now, will get the bonus map for free, alongside access to the “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” Double XP Launch Weekend.
“An arena-style map with unique art design, Nuketown promoted the type of fast-paced action that Call of Duty fans from around the world have come to love. Now re-imagined in a 60's depiction of the ‘Model Home of the Future’ Nuketown 2025 is set to take that familiar close-quarters chaos into the future,” the official page states.
The Nuketown 2025 is set to be available via most retailers worldwide and will be available to any customer who pre-orders their copy of “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” at participating retailers worldwide. Pre-ordering will secure interested fans a launch unit of “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” that will include the Nuketown 2025 downloadable bonus map.
Moreover, since the Nuketown 2025 is a multi-platform pre-order program, pre-orders will also be accepted through Steam. For users who don’t want to pre-order the game but still want to own the Nuketown 2025 bonus map, they are in for a disappointment as Treyarch has clearly stated that the user will have to pre-order the game in order to access the downloadable map.
