American action series, “Lethal Weapon” has been extended for a full season after proving the series worth with its high and strong ratings.
Fans of the action drama television series “Lethal Weapon” rejoice as news has been revealed that the series will be extended to more episodes giving fans a full first season. The show premiered on Fox on Sept. 21,2016 with only seven episodes under its name. Then by Oct. 12, Fox picked it up and extended the series for 11 more episodes after finding the potential for the series to becoming a hit.
“Lethal Weapon” gained the additional episodes when despite the mixed reviews, it still was able to gain 9 to 11 millions of viewers from episodes 1 to 3. A consensus was released by the popular and trusted critic Rotten Tomatoes regarding the said series stating that “’Lethal Weapon’s overly polished production values and tired narrative are somewhat overcome by a solid chemistry between its two leads.” Aside Rotten Tomatoes, Metacritic gave “Lethal Weapon” an average score of 56/100.
The TV adaptation series “Lethal Weapon” stars Damon Wayans, Clayne Crawford, Jordana Brewster, Keesha Sharp, Kevin Rahm, Dante Brown, Chandler Kinney, and Johnathan Fernandez. Wayans and Crawford play the roles of Roger Murtaugh and Martin Riggs correspondingly, who are the center point characters of the series. Their chemistry as a police tandem has been received well by the viewers, which the show has to thank for.
“Lethal Weapon” is a television action drama series based on the 1987 comedy action film of the same title starring Mel Gibson and Danny Glover. The TV series pretty much take after the story of the film that sums up to cops fighting bad guys with the typical cop comedy everybody seems to dig. The tagline “Good cop. Crazy good cop.” aptly suits the series. “Lethal Weapon” is about a slightly unhinged cop being partnered up with a veteran detective to help maintain a low-stress level in his life. “Lethal Weapon” airs every Wednesday on Fox.
