Mafia 3 DLC Package Is Not Free
Mafia 3 developer, Hangar 13 initially announced that a lot of free DLC content for the game. There is one DLC that will require the payment of around $30 but the rest will be given free of charge. This promise is possibly one of the reasons why a lot of gamers bought the game.
However, Hangar 13 thru its Facebook page seemed to have backtracked a little with its upcoming "free" DLC package. The developer is not demanding real cash but rather money earned by players in the game. The developer would not say it directly but players suspect that the game will soon add features for microtransactions.
Mafia 3 Players' Reaction To The DLC Flipflop
Mafia 3 players in various social forums like Reddit posted their comments and reactions. Some were miffed by the developer's changing stance. A number of player thought it was okay pay for the DLC using the in-game currency. But others were clearly against paying for the DLC in real world cash.
Mafia 3 follows in the tradition of GTA except that the game's timeline is set in the 1960s. However, some of the critics said that game's open world environment seems rather old compared to its peers. Some of the features are praiseworthy but the game has a lot of room for improvement so to speak. The game is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the Windows PC.

Mafia 3 players can expect a lot more clothes to choose from. The upcoming DLC will also allow players to customize their vehicles or join in car races. Hangar 13 also promised to add more contents together with the DLC.
