The Last Guardian started to be developed last 2007 and finally, Sony will be releasing an updated version of the game this December. It will be a gold version. The gamers who waited long for the edition of the game are already excited.
The Last Guardian Goes Gold
The development of the The Last Guardian has come a long way and Sony Interactive Worldwide boss, Shuhei Yoshida, said in his tweet that after a long time, the game finally goes gold. Players will soon see what Sony has cooked up for the gaming community.
Even Sony Interactive Entertainment producer, Jun Yoshino, also said in a tweet that The Last Guardian is all set for production because finally it is finished. However, the tweet has been deleted.
The Last Guardian going gold means that the creation and development period is finished and the game is now ready to be produced on discs. Even so, there are still a lot of work after this, according to Game Spot. There are DLCs and patches that will get the developers busy.
The Last Guardian was developed first by Fumito Ueda who also created Ico and Shadow of Colossus. The game was supposed to be a PlayStation 3, but because of issues and problems encountered before, the launching of the game was delayed for the PlayStation 4.
When Will The Last Guardian Be Available?
Just last month, Sony delayed the production of The Last Guardian and finally, the waiting will end. The game will be available before the year ends.
According to Gematsu, the much awaited The Last Guardian will be out in the market on Dec. 6 in the United States and Japan, Dec. 7 in Europe, and Dec. 9 in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The gamers who waited so long for this will be able to grab the game this Christmas Season.
