After being known online ahead of its launch, the mid-range Galaxy C9 Pro is the
first ever Samsung smartphone with 6GB RAM. It will be available via Samsung's China store starting November 11, with the pre-orders having already started this October.
One of the well-known specifications of Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro is its dual sim card slot. The dual SIM, both Nano, 4G-enabled smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Note that Android operating system can be upgraded depending on Android updates.
It is powered by a Qualcomm octa-core Snapdragon 653 chipset, with four cores clocked at 1.95GHz and the rest at 1.4GHz. Galaxy C9 Pro has a 6-inch full HD (1080x1920) AMOLED display gorilla glass, while a 16-megapixel camera with a wide f/1.9 aperture sits above the display and around back.
The Galaxy C9 Pro has a fingerprint scanner mounted on its home button located on the bottom front of the phone. It packs a 4000mAh non-removal battery and with fast charging support, which is a larger power pack than we are used to seeing.
Apart from the 4G LTE, the connectivity options on the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro include Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n), GPS, Glonass, Beidou, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack. If you need more storage than the 64GB offers natively, there is a MicroSD card slot for your needs for additional memory.
When Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro goes on sale starting November 11, it will be available in gold and rose gold for $470. Unfortunately, the phone seems to be for the people of China only, with Samsung giving no hint that it will go in other countries.
