‘Wentworth’ Season 5 Cancellation True? Series Finale Caused By Bea’s Tragic Death?

How do fans embrace the reality of their favorite tv character’s death? With heavy heart and disappointment. Would it be too much to bear if the series itself is set to conclude after the unfortunate downfall? Yes.

SoHo’s “Wentworth” joins the rumor mill of tv shows’ cancellation. Despite a confirmed 5th season renewal, the hit Australian drama is presumed to take its final stage.

Danielle Cormack’s (Bea Smith) beloved character has been officially killed by the famous series according to a report. Producer Jo Porter released an official statement verifying that Bea’s demise is too difficult to accept as her character is highly crucial in the soap.

“It is always an incredibly difficult decision to say farewell to a much-loved and revered character like Bea Smith. Which is why this storyline has had such a huge impact on us all and we are sure fans will feel the same. This decision was particularly hard as it meant also saying goodbye to Danielle Cormack,” Porter said.

While “Wentworth’s” huge fan base is expecting to witness the aftermath of Bea’s murder, the revenge of the inmates led by Allie Novak and the revelation of the next top dog in the new installment, the latest season is also speculated to be the last of the soap.

According to Movie News Guide, the reasons pointing to the show’s ending is the unacceptable departure of Bea from the show. It’s like her passing will be strongly followed by the series’ exit in the tv industry. Another factor considered is the new squad of prisoners that are not as thrilling as the current ones.

These issues remain to be rumors until proven otherwise. Amid the endless controversies chasing the successful series, Kate Jenkinson proved that the action and drama continue on its impending season. She confirmed in an interview that the production is currently in the works. Now, that’s an upper, right?
