Halo 4 Multiplayer Modes Coming Next Week – Details Revealed

More new details from the “Halo 4” front. Per reports, the “Halo 4” multiplayer modes are now set to arrive next week, alongside more playlists, as soon as Monday.

“Halo 4” will get more playlists or modes on Monday, Nov. 26, much to the delight of fans. 343 Industries just added the coveted SWAT and FFA (Free-For-All) playlist and the FFA one gets more tweaks that is meant for the hardcore “Halo 4” players.

The company is now set to add a FFA Throwback playlist, which is supposed to contain lone-wolf strains of Odball and King of the Hill. It will also contain maps like Haven, Adrift, Complex, Solace, and Abandon. According to the new details, both the modes – Oddball and King of the Hill – will last 12 minutes and players will need to score 100 and 50 points to win.

“FFA Throwback offers two free-for-all experiences in one playlist – Oddball and King of the Hill. If you’ve been dominating these modes with teammates, see how the game changes when it’s every Spartan for themselves.” said Halo Waypoint’s Jessica Shea.

“SWAT, Halo 4’s very first rotational playlist, continues to perform well so it is sticking around for another week. Team Snipers, however, come the next Matchmaking update, will be swapped out for FFA Throwback. Those of you that were waiting for Monday’s update at 2 a.m. PST have already gotten a small taste of this hopper,” the official blog added.

The FFA Throwback maps will let players bring up to seven other players to the party. As mentioned earlier, players will need 100 points to win on Oddball and 50 to win on King of the Hill, with a 12-minute time limit. The Free-For-All Throwback playlist will go live on Monday, Nov. 26.

"Halo 4" was released earlier this month and is set four years after the events of “Halo 3.” The new game also marks the return of iconic hero Master Chief and represents the beginning of a brand new story with new developers taking over.

Although the game has experienced a number of server issues at launch, including connection, matchmaking, and ranking problems, these haven't affected the popularity of the game in any way.
