Samsung, only recently, revealed the numbers related to the profit made by the company via Galaxy Note 2, after the first Galaxy Note and Galaxy S3 made big profits all around the planet. Now, the Korean company is back in news and this time it’s the heavily rumored Samsung Galaxy S4 that has entered the Web domain.
However, while the arrival of the new smartphone seems inevitable, following the wildly successful Galaxy S3, the company is yet to reveal any kind of specification details or dates regarding the upcoming device.
The previous rumors related to the device over the past few months have dealt with the possibility of the arrival of the device and the likelihood that the smartphone will make its way into any of the big early-year expos, or maybe a glimpse of the handset at one of Samsung’s own launch event, similar to how the Galaxy S3 made its debut.
Now, however, new reports have shed more light on some new benchmark results related to the anticipated device’s development and hardware. The new NenaMark results recently revealed on the web are for a certain Samsung model GT-I9400. Why this could be assumed as the Galaxy S4 is because while the previous Galaxy S3 had a model number 9300, the Galaxy S2 was 9100, and it could be assumed that the next in line is the 9400 which could be tagged as Galaxy S4.
Not much is known about the device’s specifications as of now, but it has been reported that the upcoming Samsung handset will run on the latest Android 4.2 and will feature a LCD or AMOLED screen, a 13-megapixel camera, full HD resolution, EXYNOS 5450, Mali-T658 GPU, and 2GB RAM.
“Of course, we have to say the leaked specifications look absolute fake as Samsung will not use a WVGA resolution display or a dual core processor inside the next generation device of the Galaxy S. The good thing here is that Samsung has finally started to do Software tests on their next flagship device,” a SamMobile report states. “(If GT-I9400 is the next Galaxy S) The first test firmware of the Samsung Galaxy S III GT-I9300 showed up in December. So yes, Samsung is right on time for May 2013!”
This is a new build up after it was reported in September that the device could arrive during the Mobile World Congress in Feb. 2013.
