"The Walking Dead" season 7 premiere has been an ultimate success drawing millions of viewers from around the world. The pilot episode titled "The Day Will Come When You Won't Be" showed Negan killing Glenn and Abraham with bat pitiless. "TWD" episode 2 sees a revelation of a new character. Who is King Ezekiel? What do Morgan and Carol know about him?
The Fate Of Maggie And Negan's Unborn Child
It's a dark premiere to start off "The Walking Dead" season 7, giving viewers more of what they would never want to see but certainly will make them watch the show until the end. Moving on to episode 2 titled "The Well," the title suggests another lighter episode to look forward to. After Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) took away Glenn (Stephen Yeun) and Abraham's (Michael Cudlitz) lives with repetitive blows of his bat, it remains uncertain if it's worth all the efforts if Maggie (Lauren Cohan) could deliver her unborn child successfully.
Who Is King Ezekiel?
In a video teaser for episode 2 recently released by AMC, a new character is set to add more mystery on the show. King Ezekiel (Khary Payton) is the charismatic leader of the Kingdom, a new settlement. Morgan (Lennie James) and Carol (Melissa McBride) both know the Kingdom as ruled by King Ezekiel who "does his own thing."
But what exactly do they know about this new settlement and King Ezekiel himself? According to a report, the gigantic pet tiger of King Ezekiel named Shiva will play a huge part in their survival. King Ezekiel and Shiva were already teased back in July to appear on the show. The comics version of the king describes himself as the one who leads another group of survivor. As of now, that is all that has been known about the new character.
"The Walking Dead" season 7 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
