The Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi split rumors are getting persistent, prompting the host and "Finding Dory" star to address the issue. Recent rumors suggested that there is growing trouble in the four-year marriage of the couple. The talk show host made it clear that there is no such thing going on between her and her partner. She said their relationship is still growing strong.
Degeneres Slammed The Rumored Split
A report from E! Online indicated that Degeneres believed that she was lucky to find a partner and a friend in De Rossi. "I can't imagine not being married. I have my best friend, the person I want to spend time with more than anybody else in the world," she was quoted as saying. She slammed the split rumors by saying that their relationship is their priority, no matter how busy they are.
But There Are Reports That Seem To Confirm The Rumors
However, there are also reports that seem to say the Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi split rumors could be true. A report even said that De Rossi even threatens to show video evidence of DeGeneres' controlling ways.
According to In Touch, De Rossi feels she already had enough and decided to reveal DeGeneres' controlling ways to the public. She had reportedly taken a video recording of the talk show host showing how she is a control freak. The report said DeGeneres supposedly smashed her partner's phone and went through her email to make sure that the video was not sent to anyone.
Sources close to the two have reportedly revealed that their fights are getting more frequent and heated. The smashing of the phone seems to be the straw that broke the camel's back. "They got into an ugly fight...Portia hadn't been happy for a while and was drinking and isolating [herself], and Ellen confronted her," a source revealed to In Touch magazine.
