Hollywood A-list stars Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes reportedly called it quits even before they can confirm their relationship publicly. Rumors are rife that the actor was the one who pulled the plug due to Holmes' "obsession" with going public.
RadarOnline.com broke the news that the couple has ended their "on-again, off-again" relationship. The same source claimed that it was Foxx who "dumped" Holmes because the actress wants to make their relationship public. "Jamie is tired of being pressured by Katie into going public," the source revealed. "He's asked for a few months out and made no promise he'll be available after that."
Apparently, Foxx prefers their romance to be "super-discreet" and "hated the scrutiny" from the public once their relationship has been revealed.
"It's heartbreaking for Katie, who would marry him in a heartbeat if he were keen," the same source added. "She's hoping he'll change his mind and come running back, which to be fair he's done numerous times before."
Holmes' alleged relationship with Foxx was the first she had after her controversial divorce with Tom Cruise in 2012. It was reported that the actress was not allowed to go public with her romantic relationship until 2017 as part of the "conditions" of her divorce from Cruise. "Katie wanted out of the marriage so badly she agreed to the terms," a source claimed. "[She] got 4.8 million in child support, plus another 5 million for herself."
"Katie signed a clause in her quickie divorce settlement that prevents her from embarrassing Tom in various ways, like talking about him or Scientology, or publicly dating another man for five years after the divorce," the same source revealed.
Foxx and Holmes allegedly started dating in 2013. The two have been very private about their relationship. Despite all the photos and videos of them together, the real score between them was never really officially admitted.
Meanwhile, Gossip Cop has debunked the said split rumors between Foxx and Holmes claiming that the revelations were false. The report pointed out that a breakup of a "non-existent relationship" never happened.
As of this writing, both Foxx and Holmes have not addressed the said rumors between them. It remains unclear whether the two were really in a romantic relationship, to begin with. For now, it's best to wait for the pair's official confirmation before jumping to any conclusions.
