If you are a big fan of medieval action role-playing games like the famous 'Mount and Blade' or the 'Chivalry: Medieval Warframe', you may want to give this a try. 'Tiger Knight: Empire War' is a massively multiplayer online PvP game that allows players to re-enact Middle Ages wars. The game showcases realistic equipment in history from weapons to armors and horses.
Play As A General In The Biggest Empires In 200 AD: The Han Dynasty
Similar to 'Mount and Blade', this game will let you play as a general and lead your own soldiers to battles. Set in 200 AD, you can choose from one of the biggest empires - the Roman Empire, the Kushan Empire, and the Parthian Empire. Leadership skills and strategies plus cooperation are the keys to winning the wars.
Different Game Modes To Choose From
Tiger Knight features three different game modes. The most popular one is the Command Mode, a PvP mode wherein 10-14 players can command 40 soldiers to support enemies. This game mode massively supports 200v200 battle and also includes two sub-modes - Conquest and Siege. Other modes available are: Duel Mode, allows a total of 16v16 battle between generals (without soldiers); and the Epic War, a coop battle between teams against AI programmed to simulate the famous battles from the Three Kingdom Period.
Game Gathered Positive Reviews
The game has just released its early access on Steam but it already gathered positive reviews from the community. Its capability to offer medieval battles including mounted combat, siege weapon combat and boots-on-the-ground combat relives the nostalgic Mount and Blade game everyone loved.
Oasis Games CEO, Yuhui Wang, said, "Tiger Knight: Empire War brings to life the legendary battles of the Three Kingdoms, with a unique mix of intense combat and adrenaline-charged action with over 3000 hours of gameplay." The game is expected to stay as Early Access for only two months.
