Samsung Chromebook Pro Site Reconstructed

If you happened to miss the site or page for upcoming Samsung's Chromebook Pro, then you'll likely be happy to know that the site has been rebuilt unofficially by the team at Chrome Unboxed.

There are many confirmed features of the Samsung Chromebook Pro. According to 9to5 Google, the thickness and weight of the Chromebook Pro are confirmed at 12.9mm thick when closed and 1.08kg or 2.38lbs. The display resolution is at 2400×1600. The QHD panel is capable of a maximum brightness of 400 units and has a 3:2 screen ratio, similar to that of Google's Chromebook Pixel.

It is also confirmed that Samsung Chromebook Pro will come with an "S-Pen" and a pre-loaded "ArtCanvas" app. The keyboard is also confirmed to have the curved keycaps and battery life will last about 1o hours.

Samsung also mentioned of Chrome OS’ regular updates for security and new features. Lastly, the company will be pre-loading “a range of exciting software” on the Chromebook Pro and of course offering full compatibility with Android apps even the device is offline or without an internet connection.

A couple of weeks ago, Samsung Chromebook Pro details leaked. It included there that the release date would be on or before October 24, 2016. But obviously, no Chromebook Pro was launched on that date.

Let's all face the facts together: within 24 hours of our article going live, the landing page was removed (reconstructed here for our readers, though),the Adorama listing was withdrawn, and the B&H listing that began all this had also already been taken down.

Things leak all the time. Even the Google Pixel Phone leaked a few days before release. When the articles went around the internet, the listings were pulled down.
