The two upcoming seasons will be based on Gabaldon's books "Voyager" for season 3 and "Drums of Autumn" for season 4.

The latest news about the cast of "Outlander" season 3 indicated that Lauren Lyle will play the role of Marsali, the high-spirited 18-year old daughter of Laoghaire. An Entertainment Weekly report also revealed that the role of the adult Fergus will be taken up by Cesar Domboy. Little Fergus of season 1 was ably portrayed by Romann Bernux. Some say he will be surely missed by fans.

The premiere date of "Outlander" season 3 episode 1 hasn't been confirmed yet. But based on past experience, this type of shows typically starts in the spring.
