Following the recent hullaballoo that "Rick and Morty" season 3 is almost all-set for a December premiere, new details have emerged and this time, the information leaked is quite more interesting. According to new speculations, the animated sci-fi TV series will premiere on Dec. 2.
"Rick and Morty" Premieres Dec. 2
If a Reddit post is true after all, then fans will have the best Christmas gift ever as "Rick and Morty" season 3 is said to hit the airwaves come Dec. 2. A discussion thread on Reddit with title "Rick and Morty Season 3 is coming out December 2" posted by WhiteNitro1 on Friday, Oct. 21 has made rounds about the release date rumor. When asked by one of the commenters, the Redditor did not give specific details as to where he/she got this sough-after detail. However, one responded to the question with a link to a report that confirmed "Rick and Morty" season 3's release date.
Where Does Dec. 2 Stem?
A report from Inverse did in fact outline the said date, but not exactly a confirmation of a December premiere. In the said report, the author pointed that "Rick and Morty" season 1 premiered on the same date so it can well be noted that it was a speculation. Even so, given the statement of the show's writers before, Dec. 2 is close to possible. Should this be confirmed, four episodes are expected to be aired before 2016 ends.
In a previous report, "Rick and Morty" writers Erica Rosbe and Sarah Carbiener disclosed that the script for the smash hit show was done in September and they were only waiting for Bardel Entertainment to return their script. Despite these pieces of information, many fans are still casting doubts on these reports. Hence, it is best to take them with a pinch of salt.
