Needless to say, Overwatch is one of the best titles ever released by Blizzard. It's a different multiplayer first-person shooter game in a sense. However, almost all fans will agree that it needs a new hero -- Sombra particularly. Sadly, the ARG game of the character has been a love/hate relationship within the community. Either way, here's everything you need to know about this hero's supposed release.
Overwatch Sombra Release Come November 1
As previously reported here at iTech Post, players were able to acquire information about the Overwatch hero Sombra and her release from a fictional company called LumeriCo. From the hacked emails obtained, all clues are pointing to November 1. This, in one way or another, also kind of proves the rumors about the character's release during the Halloween Season.
Overwatch Sombra And Dia de los Muertos
It's worth noting that the aforementioned Overwatch hero is represented by an image of a skull -- something that fans are well-informed about. A rumor say that November 1 is a fitting release window as it's also the Mexican's holiday called Dia de los Muertos. And believe it or not, this event involves the manufacturing or creation of sugar skulls. Well, if anything else, it could refer to the highly anticipated hero.
Overwatch Sombra Reveal At BlizzCon
One of the most recent Overwatch ARG clues for Sombra is another email hack from the aforesaid company, only this time it involved the president. It suggests that Sanjay (the sender) is telling Mr. Portero (the recipient) that in the upcoming days, he should expect lots of "discussion and communication." This one here simply means that Blizzard, along with its devs, are rigorously working for the next hero.
Moreover, in the Overwatch ARG email, the sender notes that they want to keep the "negotiations private." That they will only resort to release the information once they "feel comfortable." If one is to connect the dots, this whole email shenanigans could mean a big reveal at the forthcoming BlizzCon (see schedule here). Most of the fans in social media, though, felt like it's a marketing stunt from the studio so as to promote the said event.
In short, Overwatch fans -- if these rumors are proven true -- might finally get hold of Sombra during the first week of November. Or perhaps, if it's really the release window, on November 1. As each day passes by, it seems all the ARG clues are leading to more clues. The coming days are really worth looking forward to.
