Final Fantasy 15 Update: Game Will Add Support To PlayStation Pro

It seems like this year's most anticipated RPG will be adding a new PlayStation support prior to its official launch. Final Fantasy 15 game director, Hajime Tabata, confirms that the upcoming RPG game will offer support for the PlayStation Pro platform and hints that the game's visual will be improved on the said console at launch.

According to Game Rant, Final Fantasy 15 is now entering its final stages of development and it is expected to arrive later next month. Currently, fans are asking Tabata about the upcoming title's technical support. Tabata confirmed that the game will be offering HDR support on Xbox One S. Prior to the announcement, PlayStation Pro owners raised a concern if Tabata also considers giving similar support for their respective console.

With the team at Square Enix busy with demonstrating the Final Fantasy 15 game engine and world building elements, Tabata's response about the PS4 Pro support and what that feature would bring has been slightly delayed. As of today, players who plan to get the PS4 Pro can now breathe sighs of relief as the game director confirmed in an interview with Gameblog that Final Fantasy 15 will absolutely have PS4 Pro support prior to the release.

According to Tabata, the development team was only aware of the plans for the PlayStation Pro support recently. As a result, they lack the time to fully make use of the new hardware. He also added that Square Enix was unable to show the enhanced graphics of Final Fantasy 15 on PS4 Pro due to prioritizing other things prior to the game's official launch. The game director mentions that the PS4 pro version will receive more changes and better visual presentations.

Now that a PS4 Pro support is confirmed, both Sony and Square Enix will have to wait and see if the recent announcement has influenced both the game and console's launch sales. On the other hand, gamers still have one month left to decide whether Final Fantasy 15 is living up to the hype. However, the upcoming title is said to look elegant on both console platforms.

Final Fantasy 15 will be available on Nov. 29 for PS4 and Xbox One.
