NBA Trade Rumors: Ingram to Sixers, Simmons To Lakers, Noel To Suns In Three-Team Deal, While RJ Hunter Still A Free Agent

The 2016-2017 regular season of the NBA has begun and still several NBA trade rumors won't stop. It is rumored that the Philadelphia 76ers are sending Nerlens Noel and Ben Simmons to the Lakers in exchange for Brandon Ingram, Brandon Knight, and Dragon Bender. This would be a blockbuster three-team deal.

This Will Be A Great Switching Of Talents

If this deal pushes through, it will be one great switching of talents between the concerned teams. According to some NBA trade rumors, it seems that the Sixers will be tempted to pull the trigger because of what they perceive as its great advantages.

Nerlens Noel is an integral part of the three-headed monster of the team. One of the three can be shifted to balance out its roster. Brandon Ingram is a potential candidate for the NBA All-Star and so is Ben Simmons. The Sixers will also acquire another high draft choice in the person of Dragan Bender and Brandon Knight who is a good point guard and a potential starter.

Simmons broke his foot while in training with the Sixers. The injury was severe enough to induce his agent, Rich Paul, to say he won't allow him to play even if he's cleared later in the season. So, Simmons will not be playing for most of the current season or maybe at a bare minimum.

Is R.J. Hunter Still A Free Agent?

Meanwhile, a basketball site has posted some NBA trade rumors that seem to indicate that R.J. Hunter is still a free agent. The rumors say that the Chicago Bulls have not officially signed Hunter yet. However, he already has a locker with his name on it and his number 31. A day ago, a source told ESPN that the Bulls have agreed to make a deal with Hunter, a former Celtics guard. The source added that it will only be a one-year deal.
