Bethesda was just updated to guidelines on mods to help the players understand how they work on the game. The developer wanted less trouble for the players when it comes to using mods and how players can create new mods for Fallout 4 and Skyrim Special Edition.
Bethesda's New Mods Guidelines Explained For Fallout 4 And Skyrim
According to PlayStation Lifestyle, Bethesda mods for Fallout 4 and Skyrim Special Edition are removed when uploaded without a box art, screenshots or description. When mods' content are taken from the creator without its permission, they are removed. If the mods uploaded have nude or explicit content, they are considered ineffective. Mods with private information and hate speech are automatically erased.
Bethesda just updated its mods guidelines for Fallout 4 and Skyrim Special Edition in order to help the players understand how they will work properly and smoothly. The developer gave emphasis on mods being directly uploaded by the creator and not by a third party in order to prevent interruption.
Just within this week, Fallout 4 mods called Nexus Mods that will improve the weapons and facial expressions of the characters. Some of the excited players have been posting their works on how the new mods work. A new weapon mod is also added and it is called Vermint Rifle, which is originally a part of Fallout: New Vegas.
Fallout 4 Mods For PlayStation 4 And Xbox One, Skyrim Special Edition Mod Support
Fallout 4 for PlayStation 4 mods just got updated. The players can create mods for PS4 and other consoles using the Creation Kit. However, the kit is still available on PC and neither of Sony's or Microsoft's console. The player can download the kit on Bethesda Net Launcher.
Bethesda's Vice President Pete Hines said that the publisher wants the mods to be available not only for PlayStation 4 but also for Xbox One. However, Microsoft did not yet approve the update and Hines said, "It wasn't approved. Whether it will change in the future, I don't know. It isn't up to me."
Hines did not confirm when will Bethesda be releasing the mod update of Fallout 4 for PS4, but it has been confirmed that Skyrim Special Edition will have mods on Sony's console. The remastered Skyrim title is now available on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
