Smackdown Live is still dominating Raw when it comes to TV ratings. Sure, Smackdown might have lost a week or two; but checking the entire numbers since the brand split, Smackdown still remains on top.
Last week's episode showed us a lot of twists and turns in some of the feuds in Smackdown. We are going to check them one by one and verify on how the feud will last and what episode will it end. Notable feuds are from the WWE World Champion AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose, the Smackdown tag team turmoil , the intercontinental battle, The Wyatt family and Randy Orton and lastly, James Ellsworth status.
WWE World Champion AJ Styles vs Dean Ambrose
The rivalry of these two wonderful wrestlers are still on going due to various reasons. One is, they are trying to show that AJ Styles is capable of defeating any superstars, 3 times in a row. Same storyline that they are going to create once John Cena comes back. Next week, AJ Styles will demonstrate Dean Ambrose that he's not something to mess with. As per insider, they are planning to show AJ Styles' dark side.
Smackdown Tag Team Turmoil
Right now, there's no clear team on who is going to face Smackdown's tag team champions of Rhyno and Heath Slater. Before, WWE was so hyped and wants to push The American Alphas on top of the division but that died down. The Usos are the only team in mind that is capable of dethroning the unlikely pairing of Rhyno and Heath Slater. Next week, that is still the plan, to continue building a storyline between the current tag team champions against the former champs.
The Intercontinental Picture
This is remarkably one of the best feuds I enjoy. The Miz and Dolph Ziggler has a great chemistry and either one of them is a deserving champion. The Miz is maybe the best heel we have right now. The egotistical, narcissistic, Hollywood star has a way to get to everybody's skin. And me as a fan, i totally love it. Ziggler on the other hand has exceeded WWE creative's expectation. He is now better on the mic than when he was last year.
The Bizarre Twist Between The Wyatt family And Randy Orton
For months since the Apex Predator returned to Smackdown, Bray Wyatt seems to have a fun time interfering Orton. Randy Orton tried to mind his own business but The Wyatt family keeps on bugging him. Kane showed up to help Orton as he is outnumbered by the leader of the buzzards. However, as per Insider, Randy Orton will be the newest member of the family. There are no confirmations yet on this twist but I would love to see it. They are planning to show that angle on next week's edition of Smackdown.
The Greatest Underdog In WWE History - James Ellsworth
Remember when he answered the open challenge on Raw against Strowman? Now, James Ellsworth is bigger and more popular than the massive giant. He was able to defeat the WWE World Champion twice and fans are now asking WWE if he will be signed permanently. The chinless wrestler struck gold when Dean Ambrose helped him advertise by making a tshirt with his face on.
