Recently, rumors are rife that Benedict Wong will reprise his role as Kublai Khan in "Marco Polo" Season 3. However, the series regular might be returning as a guest star instead. According to reports, the actor has been caught up with his busy schedule and bigger projects ahead of him.
Benedict Wong himself confirmed that he will have bigger projects lined up. The "Marco Polo" star revealed that his character Wong will be in the third "Avengers" film. "I'm thrilled I'm going to be in Infinity War. I'm looking forward to, I'll tell you that one first," the actor revealed during an interview. The actor will also be likely in "Thor: Ragnarok" as teased by "Doctor Strange" co-star Benedict Cumberbatch.
With the latest development in his career, fans are starting to worry how it will affect Kublai Khan's fate in "Marco Polo." It has been reported in the past that Benedict Wong's hectic schedule with other commitments caused the delay of the series production. However, there has been no confirmation regarding the said allegation.
