Recently, it has been reported that a reunion between Krombopulos Michael and Rick Sanchez will take place in the upcoming season. Plus, will Vin Diesel finally join the series?
In a recent event, the creator of "Rick And Morty," Dan Harmon, revealed that season 3 will close off loose ends from the previous installment. This led to speculations of a possible reappearance of Krombopulos Michael.
According to reports, Krombopulos Michael survived his supposed death in season 2. To recall, Krombopulos Michael was a Gromflomite assassin who used to purchase weapons from Rick. His story in the series was cut short when Morty crushed him to his death as he fell asleep while piloting his grandfather's spaceship.
Many fans theorize that Krombopulos Michael will be revealed in "Rick And Morty" when he rescues Rick from the high-security prison where he was incarcerated by the Intergalactic Federation during the season 2 finale. However, there has been no confirmation regarding this rumor. In case the said reunion comes to fruition, will he stick around to help Rick along the way?
Meanwhile, it was no secret that the creator of "Rick And Morty" really wanted to have Vin Diesel on the show. Dan Harmon has been very vocal about being a fan of the actor and his intent to include him in the series' cast. However, much to fans' disappoint, it may not happen in the third installment of the hit franchise.
According to reports, Vin Diesel might join the cast of season 4 instead. It was also reported that the actor is quite interested in taking part in "Rick And Morty" Season 3 if time allows. In case Vin Diesel joins the cast, he might be playing the voice of D&D as reported in the past.
"Rick And Morty" Season 3 has been reported to come out as early as December 2016.
