Dota 2 Fall Battle Pass Quest Path Guide: How To Complete Path Of The Twin Forks

Valve added a new quest path for the Fall 2016 Battle Pass in celebration for the Halloween. The path is called 'The Twin Forks' which offers you a prize of a mythical pumpkin courier named Fraidy Jack. Currently, the prize of the courier sits under $1 on the Steam Community Market; however, the price here doesn't matter, but the points do. Here is your ultimate guide in order to unlock Fraidy Jack and gather all the points for your Battle Pass.

Mist Opportunities. Use Mist Coil to damage enemies or heal allies for a total of 3000 / 5000 / 7000 health, and purge 4 / 8 / 10 debuffs from allies heroes with Aphotic Shield. Required Hero: Abaddon. This quest is very easy. Pick Abaddon and just spam his Mist Coil during the game. Since this skill has a short cooldown and deals self-damage, you might want to buy tanky items in addition to his Arcane Boots which you can dispose or upgrade to Guardian Gleaves during late game.

Pact and Ready. Kill 4 / 6 / 8 enemies while under the effect of Death Pact, and debuff enemy heroes for a total of 45 / 65 / 85 seconds. Required Hero: Clinkz. The first thing you need to do is to buy a Blight Stone. This item is upgradeable to Orchid of Malevolence which is the perfect thing you need in order to complete this quest. The orchid allows Clinks to keep the Death Pact 'on' with his skill Searing Arrows. Rush the Orchid of Malevolence, buy Desolator, then you're good to go.

Siphon Demand. Use Spirit Siphon on enemies for a total of 30 / 60 / 90 seconds, and hit two or more enemy heroes at once with Silence 2 / 4 / 6 times. Required Hero: Death Prophet. This quest obviously says, "spam your Spirit Siphon." It replenishes every 45 seconds but, it has no cooldown. Meaning, you can use this skill against enemy heroes all at once as long as you have a charge available. Since you need to get close to enemies in order to execute these skills, recommended items are Eul's Scepter of Divinity and Aether Lens.

A Lich in Your Plans. Sacrifice or kill 20 / 40 / 60 allied units, and slow enemies for 100 / 150 / 200 seconds. Required Hero: Lich. Another skill spam quest. For this, you might want to consider the items Arcane Boots and Aether Lens. Consumable items for mana regeneration like Clarity and Mango are also helpful for situations where there is no creep available near, or you ran out of mana for Sacrifice.

Reality Check. Deal 2000 / 4000 / 6000 damage with Dispersion, and kill 3 / 6 / 9 enemies after using Reality. Required Hero: Spectre. Since Dispersion damage varies on the amount of incoming damage and the distance of the damage dealer away from you, ideal item for this quest is Vanguard which can be upgraded to Crimson Guard. You need to take damage and stay alive in order to complete this quest. Late Heart of Tarrasque is highly recommended.

Comeback Mechanic. Kill 3 / 6 / 9 enemies after Reincarnation, and steal 2000 / 4000 / 6000 HP from enemy Heroes using sources of Lifesteal. Required Hero: Wraith King. If you want to make sure you'll steal required amount of HP, get additional life steal by buying Vladimir's Offering and Armlet of Mordiggian. Don't hesitate to buy Arcane Boots if you're having serious mana problems. Also, if you want to keep your Reincarnation up, Refresher Orb is an option.

Cheesy Peasy. Across multiple victories: Consume the Cheese 1 / 2 / 3 times. Ursa is the most recommended hero for the quest. He has the capability to solo Roshan early game and can kill him three times before 30-40 minute mark if you are having a good day. Pick Ursa, rush Vladimir and kill Roshan every time he respawns. However, you might want to have safety procedures before slaying the creep by planting wards around the pit in case of enemy ganks.

So there it is, your guide to unlocking that Pumpkin courier. In the case of having a hard time completing the quest, remember that you can always buy the courier from the market which is not really that exciting. For more information about the Battle Pass, visit here.
