Microsoft has been giving out teasers that the much-awaited Xbox One Scorpio is having some "amazing progress." With that being said, Xbox fans will be expecting to see Scorpio arrive a lot sooner than expected. In a recent interview, Microsoft's Phil Spencer openly gave some assurance that the development of the all-new Xbox console is currently already ahead of its schedule. From the looks of it, Microsoft is already significantly ahead with project Scorpio, even claiming to have surpassed their own expected progress achievements.
According to Phil Spencer
When asked if whether the console would have any early launch date by one of his followers on Twitter, Spencer tweeted that he was in a review with the Scorpio team to determine the project's current progress. He also reinforced his statement by showing satisfaction by the progress of the program.
Project Scorpio is having a very promising progress
According to his statements, the people working on Xbox Scorpio are very much paying attention to detail in terms of matching its capabilities with the precise level of performance that has been expected. In fact, going through some high-level specs at E3, the team gave its members time to ensure that they targeted the highest possible performance coming from the Scorpio. Unfortunately, Microsoft did not give any mentioning for the Xbox Scorpio during its most recent Windows 10 event. So right now, there's not much information about it yet.
The Scorpio is going to be the most powerful console ever made
Meanwhile, the Xbox Scorpio is being considered as the most powerful console ever made. It boasts 6 teraflops of GPU, which supports virtual reality and 4k gaming. Compared to its predecessor, the Xbox One S, the Scorpio features a 40% slimmer design. It also offers a 4k Ultra HD support for Blu-ray disks to come along with Amazon and Netflix content, as well as an internal power supply.
Xbox One Scorpio vs. PS4 Pro
A lot of tech enthusiasts are already comparing Xbox Scorpio with its rival PS4 Pro, making solid claims that the Pro's 4.2 teraflops will not be enough to be able to fully handle true 4K reso. But even if that is going to be true, people are still hoping to see some great competition between the two consoles, especially since PS4 Pro is going to come with a much cheaper price tag.
