Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is said to arrive alongside the upcoming Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Infinite Warfare previously granted players to experience the game firsthand via the beta version. Currently, Activision and Infinity Ward activated the servers early. That means players can play the game as early as now.
According to the report from VG247, some players are claiming that they are already playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare remastered despite Activision and Infinity Ward's silence. As remembered neither of the companies had released an official statement that the servers for the remastered version is now online. Based on the sources, streams and videos have been constantly taken down. However, if you search the hashtag #MWRemastered, you will find multiple discussions, screens and more.
Currently, the access is only limited to those who had done pre-orders of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition on PS4, which allows them to pre-download the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare remastered version. In addition, Xbox One owners who pre-ordered the Legacy Edition were also given the same privilege.
Based on the report, you will probably wait for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare's official launch on Friday if you fall into either of that category. On the other hand, PC owners will need to wait a little bit longer as both Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered pre-loads on Steam are not yet available as to date.
On other news, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare lead concept artist, Thomas Szakolczay, shares his idea on how the developers will recreate the upcoming title by applying a more science fiction environment while retaining the franchise's gaming roots. He also added that the studio is considering in adding a more military feel rather than being a hardcore sci-fi title for Infinity Warfare.
