The young singer Selena Gomez is not in rehab for any addiction, she is rather staying there trying to cure her depression led by the prognosis on her having lupus; which she announced last year. Just last August, she announced that she will be cutting her "Revival" tour short due to her depression and she wants to get better before facing the public once more. Since then, she hasn't been seen or even heard of by the public eye; hence, the reports that she is currently staying in rehab.

There have been reports claiming that Selena's family is blaming Bieber for the former's meltdown, which happened shortly after their heated argument on Instagram wherein Selena accuses Bieber of cheating on her repeatedly. Thus, he was then reportedly asked by her family to stay away from her as she is currently trying to get better given the circumstances of her condition. However, there have been speculations that Bieber has been with Selena the entire time that she is in rehab and is allegedly paying for the facility as well.

Despite her family's efforts to keep them apart, it looks like the former couple just can't stand being away from each other despite everything that they have been going through. Bieber is reportedly still concerned of his ex-girlfriend's condition, hence the speculations that he is constantly with her while she is in rehab. This was further fuelled when Bieber and his girlfriend Sophie Ritchie have broken up shortly after Selena's admission to the facility.
