The "Mean Girls" star set tongues bobbling when an interview at the October opening of her Greek nightclub reported on Tuesday. In the video, the 30-year-old sounds uncommonly different from the American we've come to know since her "Parent Trap" days, and neither the dictionary nor Google search can make sense over her new accent.
But the actress isn't denying the fact that she has a new way of talking creatively; on the contrary, she offered up a definition for her bizarre new voice.
Lindsay Lohan Has A New Accent And It's Not Just For Her New Image
"It's a mixture of most of the languages I can understand or am trying to learn," she revealed to the Daily Mail. "I've been learning different languages since I was a child." she continued. "I'm fluent in English and French, can understand Russian and am learning Turkish, Italian and Arabic,"
But if she already knew some of the languages since she was a child, while has this new accent suddenly sprouted? Perhaps since she residing in London could have actuated it? Or as factual, she's recently spent time with Syrian refugees in Turkey could have somewhat to do with it? For whatever purpose, the actress doesn't bother with the fact that people are noticing her for sounding alienated. She's sounded perfectly with her new way of speaking, and even took to Twitter to joke about it:
Lohan Jokingly Tweeted About The Viral Video, Saying That She Loved To Call It "#LILOHAN Accent"
When Lohan was asked if all the attention over her new accent amazed her, she told the Daily Mail, "Nothing really shocks me these days. I moved to London four years ago and the taxes seem to be getting higher."
