Hyundai, one of the most competitive brands in the auto industry is not about to be left behind by other car makers as it didn't came to the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show 2016 unprepared. During the event, the car manufacturer introduced the 2017 Hyundai Tucson, which is ready to cross over to the dark side with its limited night edition.

Hyundai Joins The Bandwagon

Over the years, automakers like GMC and Jeep as well as Mercedes-Benz have introduced night edition models. This year, Hyundai has decided it is time for them to do the same and the 2017 Hyundai Tucson has been selected to cross over to the dark side as its limited night edition was introduced in the Special Equipment Market Association (SEMA) 2016.

The 2017 Tucson Night Edition Specs

CNET reported that the 2017 Tucson Limited Night Edition comes with a Front-wheel Drive (FWD) 195-lb-ft I4 engine with a seven-speed dual clutch transmission, capable of 175 horsepower. It features an exterior with panoramic sunroof, side mirrors with gloss-black covers and a set of matte black 19-inch set of RAYS wheels, complete with black lug nuts. The interior is defined by a perforated steering wheel wrapped in leather, sport pedals in aluminum and LED map lights available both at the rear and the front of the car.

Colors And Price Range

Consumers can choose between gray, black pearl, white and Caribbean blue as they are the only night compatible colors according to Car and Driver. As for the price, CNET reported that there haven't been any announcements yet but the assumption that it will be close to $29,775 is a safe one given the fact that the Hyundai Tucson sport is at $25,990.

The Light Or The Dark Side

Whether or not the consumers should go for the Limited Night Edition of the 2017 Tucson or not, just like in all things, the choice is completely up to them. Of course, there are also other options that can be considered such as those introduced by GMC, Jeep or Mercedes-Benz.
