Julian Assange Assures That Russia Is Not WikiLeaks Source

WikiLeaks leader Julian Assange ruled out Russia as their sources of the Democrats hacked emails that the radical transparency organization has leaked in the last months, ensuring that there wasn't any state actor involved in its actions. This statement came weeks after the U.S. claimed that Russia was WikiLeaks' source in Hillary Clinton´s campaign chairman John Podesta dumps.

WikiLeaks' Real Sources Are John Podesta And His Correspondents

Both the government and the Democratic Party have blamed Kremlin and the non-profit organization of wanting to interfere with the presidential elections. However, Julian Assange explained that far from wanting to do this, the mission is to reveal any single document regarding the election, so voters could know the truth.

According to the Daily Mail, Assange explained to a Russian state media that WikiLeaks source is John Podesta and his correspondents, and that the organization has an immaculate record in the accurate authentication of leaked documents. The leader gave the interview in the Ecuadorean embassy, where he has been residing under asylum since 2012.

"WikiLeaks' sources for the Podesta emails currently being published are not state parties. We have independently authenticated the emails. WikiLeaks has a decade-long, perfect record in the accurate authentication of leaked documents. The original sources of the Podesta emails are Hillary Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta and his correspondents," Assange told.

Strong Statements Against Clinton

According to the International Business Times, in addition to ruling out the Kremlin as Wikileaks source, Assange also made some strong statements against the Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, in which he explained that she has been eaten alive by her ambitions.

"Hillary Clinton is just one person. I actually feel quite sorry for Hillary Clinton as a person, because I see someone who is eaten alive by their ambitions, tormented literally to the point where they become sick - for example faint - as a result of going on, and going with their ambitions. But she represents a whole network of people and a whole network of relationships with particular states."

The non-profit organization leader has previously promised that he will release every single document related to the elections before November 8. Although he said who´s not Wikileaks source, it is a suspicious coincidence that the leaks are only making damage to Clinton, and that Vladimir Putin has openly shown his support to the Republican candidate Donald Trump.
