The iPhone 7 and Google Pixel phones hit the market this year. Likewise, Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 saw its early demise. Xiaomi's bezel-less Mi MIX was also unveiled. Though we still have to wait until next year for the Apple iPhone 8 and Samsung's possible saving grace, the Galaxy S8.
But before that, there are still a number of smartphones yet to be launched this year.
Xiaomi Redmi 4
This November 4, Xiaomi is launching its entry-level smartphone Redmi 4. According to GameNGuide, it's a 5-inch classy but inexpensive phone with a full HD display screen. Redmi 4 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset with 2.5 GHz Octa-core processor. It also has a 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
Its features include an Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based MIUI 8 software and fingerprint sensor on the back. Redmi 4 is also equipped with 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. It also has a 4,000 mAh lithium battery. It is will be available for $192.
Motorola Moto M
Motorola is reported to unveil their Moto M this Nov. 8. According to CNET, tech blogger and editor Steve Hemmerstoffer leaked the phone's image and specs. It has a fingerprint sensor and a bezel-less front. Moto M's alleged specs include a 5.5-inch screen with 1080p resolution, an eight-core 2.2 GHz processor.
It also has a 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, 13-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front camera and a 3,050 mAh battery. Motorola has not yet confirmed anything about the Moto M. The price of the said smartphone is also not known.
HTC Bolt
The rumored HTC Bolt is also expected to be launched this November. According to NDTV, it will run on Android 7.0. Consumers may be disappointed to know that it does not have a 3.5mm earphone jack. The iPhone 7 also have the same issue.
The 5.5-inch HTC Bolt will have a full HD resolution, 3GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and a microSD card support. It features HTC's BoomSound audio enhancement for earphones, a fingerprint scanner and a USB Type-C port. It also has an 18-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front camera.
OnePlus 3T
The OnePlus 3T is reported to be unveiled in December. Apparently, it will run on a Snapdragon 821 chipset and Android 7.0 Nougat-based Oxygen OS straight out of the box. Its camera might be integrated with the new Sony IMX398 sensor. The said price of the OnePlus 3T is $479.
Samsung Galaxy A5
Samsung has yet to reveal the launch date of the Galaxy A5. For now, it is expected to be in December or early next year. It is said that this phone will be similar to the Galaxy S7.
It may have a 5.2-inch display, an Exynos 7880 octa-core processor, a 3GB of RAM and a microSD card support. Furthermore, its leaked details mention a USB Type-C connector, side-mounted speakers, 7.8mm thickness and a 3,000mAh battery.
NDTV further reports that its body may be made of glass. The phone's operating system is said to be based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
