Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi released its first flash sale of Mi Mix Standard and Exclusive Edition, and both flagships got sold out in just 10 seconds, which represents the company´s fastest selling smartphone ever, after the 50 seconds that Mi Note 2 lasted to getting sold out a couple of days ago.
No One Knows How Many Mi Mix Were Sold
The only issue about this incredible selling is that it is unknown how many Mi Mix smartphones were put up for sale and consequently moved within the 10 second period. In fact, many think that it could have been just a few devices, giving the fact that some reports revealed that Xiaomi plans to produce only 10,000 units each month, which is not precisely a high number.
According to Ubergizmo, Mi Mix features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset that can be found along with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB under the hood, in addition to a massive 6.4-inch display. Apparently, the problem about the Mi Mix is that is made out of ceramic, because when it looks incredibly aesthetic, it is very slippery, which could be a huge problem for users.
A Great Phone With A Nice Price
The Mi Mix store page posted that a second flash sale is being scheduled for November 8, which is expected to be as incredible as this last one. According to the International Business Times, U.K. and U.S. are looking to import these phones, which grabbed a fair amount of attention on its press event on October 25, thanks to its impressive screen-to-body ratio of 91.3 percent.
The price of both Mi Mix variant are relatively affordable, since you can find it at CN¥3,499 ($469) for the 4GB model and CN¥3,999 ($534) for the 6GB model, which also make everyone understand why it the first flash was sold so fast. Although the Mi Mix is currently available only for China, it is expected to be released to the U.S. in a very short time.
