The recently concluded Pokemon GO Halloween event was a huge success. Fans definitely loved the way Niantic handled the season, bringing new features, rewards and XP boosts, among others. But if there's one thing that fans would love to see more in the future, it's no other than the event's Buddy System version. For the players, it has the right amount of excitement it can bring to the table.
In the aforementioned Pokemon GO event, the Buddy System is quite remarkable. It offers players buffs that, in one way or another, allow them to acquire more candies. Well, this is most especially when they're about to reach a particular requirement.
According to Otakukart, Pokemon GO fans have grown accustomed to such feature in a short period of time. After all, the old mechanic is a piece of work. Why? That's because players will have to double their efforts and stuff when it comes to candies and XPs, among others.
Based on the Pokemon GO Halloween event, the candies in the Buddy System absolutely needs a boost or something. Or perhaps, if Niantic is generous enough, full double candy buff could be a thing. Not only do these changes make the game easier, it makes the entire gameplay experience a little bit different than before.
Nevertheless, it's also safe to say that if such feature is added to Pokemon GO, it'll only make things boring. This is merely due to the fact that everything seems to be fed easily to the players. However, if the likes of trading and/or battling are added, then it's really going to be a different story.
At the end of the day, Niantic must find a way to add new features to Pokemon GO. Or, if the latter isn't that easy to bring, they can resort to introducing more events -- similar to the Halloween event -- in the future. And definitely, the Holiday season is one to look forward to. Perhaps, they can even triple the fun during that time.
