PS4 vs PS4 Pro vs Xbox One: Searching For The Best Console

The PS4 Pro is touted as the best console in the PS4 series when it hits the market in a few days. Equipped with a higher-powered GPU, 4K resolution, and other advanced features. But how does it measure with the PS4 and Xbox One?

PS4 Pro VS Xbox One

The PS4 Pro is definitely at an advantage when compared side by side with the Xbox One console. It is thinner and lighter with 12.8 x 11.6 x 2.1 inches dimensions and 7.3-pound weight. Xbox One's dimensions, on the other hand, are 13.1 x 10.8 x 3.1 inches with a 7.8-pound weight.

PS4 Pro also as a switchable drive and has HDR and 4K capabilities. However, Xbox One is at an advantage because it comes in 500 GB and 1 TB models while the PS4 Pro has only one.

PS4 Pro VS Xbox One S

When compared to the Xbox One S, however, the PS4 Pro is bulkier. The Xbox one S has dimensions of 11.6 x 8.9 x 2.5 inches and weighs 6.4 pounds. Although the Xbox console has a 4K disc drive, it can only display 4K but limited to Blu-ray and video only. The PS4 Pro is also at a disadvantage when it comes to USB ports - it has only two compared to Xbox One S' three.

PS4 Pro VS PS4

Comparing the PS4 Pro to its predecessor, the Pro is bulkier and heavier. The PS4 only has 12.01 x10.8 x 2.0 inches dimensions and weighs 6.2 pounds. But, of course, it is more powerful than the older version. It has higher quality visuals and a more powerful GPU. It also has less power consumption and fan noise as well as physical power and eject buttons.

Even when compared to the much slimmer PS4 Slim, the PS4 Pro is definitely up there except for the fact that the latter is smaller.
