The third and final mission pack for Starcraft 2: Nova Covert Ops will be finally released as announced on the opening ceremony of BlizzCon 2016 on Friday, Nov. 4. Along with the final mission pack announcement is a reveal of a new Zerg-infested commander for Co-Op Missions.
Final Mission Pack To Starcraft 2: Nova Covert Ops Announced In BlizzCon 2016
The third mission pack of the Nova Covert Ops trilogy is said to be going live on Nov. 22, PC Gamer reported. The third pack costs $7.49 but the bundle offer for all trilogy packs will be available at a discounted price of $14.99. However, those who purchased the first mission pack are not eligible for the discounted mission bundle price. The undiscounted bundle costs $22.47, as posted in the official Nova Covert Ops site in Battle.net. A bonus in-game ghost unit skin for Starcraft 2 will be received by those who purchased all mission packs.
Following the events of the second mission pack, the last mission pack campaign will revolve around the crisis that Nova and her team must face after the abdication of Emperor Valerian from the Terran Dominion throne. Now, Nova and her team must make ends meet to ensure the future of the Terran Dominion.
Introducing Alexei Stukov, New Commander For Co-Op Missions
The Co-Op Missions commander also announced at BlizzCon was Alexei Stukov, a former Terran but now an infested member of the Zerg. "Former Terran vice admiral and current-infested leader of Stukov's forces, Alexei Stukov will be joining the ranks as the newest StarCraft ll commander!" the description for the new Co-Op Missions commander trailer reads. "Leading forces of infested units and structures, this unorthodox commander is sure to overwhelm foes."
Starcraft 2: Nova Covert Ops is a downloadable content (DLC) trilogy of single-player mission packs for Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty. Nova Covert Ops consists of nine missions in total, three missions per mission pack. The first mission pack was released on Mar. 29, 2016 followed by the second mission pack on Aug. 2.
