Jennifer Lawrence has been making headlines once again. This time, the "Hunger Games" actress has been rumored to be dating director Darren Aronofsky. The actress has not confirmed the issue but recent photos of the two speak louder than words.
On Wednesday night, the 26-year-old actress was spotted kissing the 47-year-old director in New York City. The couple appears to be lovey-dovey as they stroll around the city while holding hands. Lawrence opted for a cozy look in an oversized black coat and scarf, matching it with a pair of gray boots. Meanwhile, Aronofsky donned a blue button-down with a scarf and a newsboy cap.
Rumors of the two dating started in mid-October when they were spotted together multiple times in the past. As reported by E! News, the couple has been "official since August." The same source also added that Lawrence has been a huge support to Aronofsky when his dad had "some medical issues, and she is very supportive and has even visited him in hospital.." An insider also revealed that the actress even bought an apartment in New York City to be near where the director lives.
Apparently, the two met over the summer while working together on the film "Mother," where Lawrence is starring. Sources claim that "They get along really well, and it's easy right now,"
There were also claims that Lawrence's recent relationship with the director is totally different from her previous one. It's no secret that the actress dated Chris Martin in the past and sources claim that the actress was "less stressed out" in her new romance with the "Black Swan" director.
"She struggled when she dated Chris [Martin] and seemed very stressed out," the source said. "With Darren, it will probably be different. He does not attract attention like Chris does. He does not seem like a person who enjoys being a celebrity. Jennifer is the same."
Aronofsky shares a 10-year-old son with his ex-girlfriend, Rachel Weisz. It was not clear if the actress already met his son but it was reported that she "seems very comfy with his family."
