Game developer Niantic just announced new patch updates for Pokemon GO yesterday, Nov. 4. With the recent introduction of daily bonuses, Pokemon GO proves itself alive and well from anyone questioning if the augmented reality mobile game is nearing its fall to rock bottom.
Pokemon GO New Update Features Extra XP and Stardust
The new update features extra 500 experience points (XP) and 600 stardust every time the player catches a Pokemon every day. Consecutively catching Pokemon for seven days will reward players with 2,000 XP and 2,400 Stardust. 500 XP plus more items will be obtained when visiting a PokeStop. Similar to catching Pokemon for seven days straight, visiting PokeStops each day for seven days in a row will give the player 2,000 XP and even more items, according to Techu4ria.
Niantic publicized the new minor patch notes via a Facebook post. As said from the post, the new patch reduces the chance of common Pokemon such as Zubat, Rattata and Pidgey from appearing. Repelling the spawn chance of these Pokemon will raise the possibility of finding other Pokemon. In addition to the new patch update, Pidgey and Rattata will no longer hatch from eggs and Eevee will now hatch from 5 km eggs rather than the usual 10 km. That means less walking for all the Pokemon GO adventurers out there!
Pokemon GO Releasing New Content And Event Soon
After the commencement of the hit Halloween event, Pokemon GO is loading up not just with patch updates but also new events and game upgrades as well. Niantic unleashed the new and improved Pokemon GO in-game tracker, a widget in the game that acts like a radar that locates and tracks nearby Pokemon. Niantic also established the essential daily bonuses update that offers players to grab more XP to help them level up and now they are polishing the upcoming winter event while rumors are on the rise about Gen 2 Pokemon and baby Pokemon are coming as an addition to the game roster.
Pokemon GO is available for mobile devices.
